Curated pieces. Crafted in limited allocations or made to measure upon inquiry.
Rooted in traditional maroquinerie, Kājal Germany is an independent leather atelier established in Kaiserslautern. We create objects of quiet permanence, shaped entirely by hand without electrical machinery.

The Hand Saddle Stitch
Every seam is punched with French pricking irons and sewn using two needles and a single length of waxed French linen thread. Unlike machine lockstitching, a true saddle stitch will never unravel, ensuring each piece lasts for decades.

Vegetable-Tanned Provenance
We work exclusively with certified full-grain vegetable-tanned leathers from historic tanneries in Tuscany and France. Tanned slowly using natural tree bark tannins, our leather ages with a rich, unique patina.
